  • A retainer dependency. The workflow runs in your accounts, not mine.
  • Subscriptions you can't cancel. Standard cost: ~£0–£10/mo for any APIs we use.
  • Mid-build scope creep. New features after kickoff = small add-on or a Keep-it-running plan.

Sample deliverable

A salon's "no-show predictor": pulls today's bookings from Treatwell each morning at 8am, scores each customer 1–5 based on booking history, drafts a personalised reminder text for the bottom-2 scores, and posts the drafts to a private WhatsApp for the manager to one-click send.

FAQ

What if "one workflow" turns out to be three?
I'll say so on the kick-off call before building anything. We'll either narrow scope or step up to the AI System.
Why TypeScript and not no-code?
You own the code, can hand it to any developer, and don't pay a tool's monthly fee. We use n8n if you specifically prefer it — same price, same scope.
What about credentials and API keys?
They live in your accounts (your Google, your Notion, your Stripe). I get scoped access during the build and lose it on delivery. No shared admin accounts.
What if it breaks two months later?
Inside the 14-day fix-it window: free. After that: pay-per-fix at £75/hr, or take a Keep-it-running plan (from £150/mo) and never think about it.
