Custom Tools & Web Apps

The booking system, client portal, or dashboard that off-the-shelf software won't do.

From £3,000 · scoped on a call · milestone-billed
Perfect for: a business that's outgrown spreadsheets and forms, but where off-the-shelf software doesn't quite fit how you actually work.
Straight answer first: these are web apps. They run in any browser and install to a phone's home screen (a PWA), so they feel like an app — but they are not App-Store native apps. If you genuinely need a native iOS/Android app, I'll tell you and point you to the right partner rather than sell you something I can't do well.

Simple Tool · from £3,000 (£3k–£5k)

  • One focused tool or portal, one core job done well
  • A booking-to-CRM form, a client status portal, or an ops dashboard
  • Logins and roles if you need them
  • Code in your GitHub repo
  • About two weeks

Custom Web App · from £6,000 (ceiling £8k–£15k)

  • Multi-feature app with user logins and roles
  • A real database, not a spreadsheet pretending to be one
  • Each integration (Stripe, Xero, etc.) quoted separately at £1,000–£2,000
  • Scoped and fixed-priced on a call — you get a ceiling, not just a "from"
  • Three to six weeks, milestone-billed

Sample build

A physio clinic's booking portal: patients book and reschedule online, it writes straight into the clinic's calendar and CRM, sends reminders, and gives the front desk a live day-view dashboard. Installs to the receptionist's phone home screen. Built as a web app in about three weeks.

What every build includes

How a build runs

DiscoveryMap the tool · agree scope + fixed price
Week 1Data model + core screens · you click a live prototype
Wk 2–3Features · logins · integrations wired
Wk 4–5Testing · your data in · edge cases (Custom Web App)
Go-liveDeployed on your Cloudflare · handover + how-to

Guarantees

First-month promise: if a paid build isn't doing what we agreed within 30 days, I fix it free — or refund it.
Fixed price, not a meter: the discovery call scopes the job and you get a fixed quote — with a ceiling, not just a "from" — before any build starts, so you know the top of the range. Anything over ~2 weeks is milestone-billed (deposit / mid-milestone / final), each stage cleared before the next begins.

FAQ

Is this an App-Store app?
No. It's a web app: it works in any browser and installs to a phone's home screen (a PWA), so it feels like an app with no download — and one build works on iPhone and Android. If you genuinely need true native, I'll say so and refer you to someone who does it well.
Why "from" pricing?
Because a booking form and a multi-role portal aren't the same job. The discovery call scopes exactly what you need and I give you a fixed price — with a stated ceiling, so you know the top of the range — before any build. You never get an open-ended hourly bill, and each integration (Stripe, Xero, etc.) is quoted separately at £1,000–£2,000 so scope creep hits a wall.
Who owns it?
You do. The code sits in your GitHub, hosted on your Cloudflare account. No proprietary platform you'd be locked into, and nothing you'd lose access to if I went away.
What stack do you build on?
Next.js for anything with logins and data, Astro for the simpler tools, both on Cloudflare. Standard and well-documented, so any developer can pick it up down the line.
Can it talk to my existing software?
Usually, yes — if the software has an API (most do). We confirm exactly which integrations are possible on the discovery call before anything is priced or promised.
Who am I actually working with?
Me — Matin, a solo builder in Leeds. One person who scopes it, builds it, and answers the phone. Young, built on modern AI tooling, and honest about the edges of what that can do.
Next step: a free 30-minute call. We map the tool, agree what's a web app and what isn't, and I quote a fixed price before any work starts. Email hello@autoflowleeds.co.uk.
