Privacy policy.
This page explains what personal data AutoFlow Leeds collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who it's shared with, and the rights you have over it. We keep it plain: no tracking, no cookies, no selling your details.

Who we are
AutoFlow Leeds is a trading name of DarwishEnterprises, a UK sole trader (Matin Darwish) based in Leeds, England. For anything in this policy — including any request about your data — the data controller is Matin Darwish, trading as AutoFlow Leeds.
- Contact: hello@autoflowleeds.co.uk
- Based: Leeds, England, United Kingdom
- ICO registration: registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office; our registration reference is available on request.
What we collect, and when
This site has no accounts, no logins, and no analytics. The only place you give us personal data is the contact form. When you submit it, we collect:
- Your name (optional) — so we know who we're replying to.
- Your email address — so we can reply to your enquiry.
- Your message — the thing you'd happily never do again.
To deliver the form and stop spam, our hosting provider also processes limited technical data — such as your IP address and the time of the request. We don't use this to build a profile of you.
Why we're allowed to use it (lawful basis)
We rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR: when you send us an enquiry, it's in both our interests for us to read it and reply. We only use what you send to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to provide the service you've asked for. We do not add you to any marketing list from this form, and we don't sell or share your data for advertising.
Who it's shared with
We keep the list of people who touch your data short. To run the site and the contact form, we use these providers (our "processors"), each under their own data-processing terms:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the website and runs the small program that receives your form submission at the network edge.
- Resend — delivers your form submission to our inbox as an email.
- Proton Mail (Proton AG, Switzerland) — the inbox (hello@autoflowleeds.co.uk) where we receive and read your enquiry. Switzerland has a UK "adequacy" status, so your data stays protected.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where your data is transferred abroad, it's protected by the UK's approved safeguards (the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum, or Standard Contractual Clauses) so it keeps essentially the same protection it has here. We never sell your data, and we only hand it to anyone else if the law requires us to.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There's no consent banner because there's nothing to consent to. The one thing worth flagging: our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google and Google receives your IP address as part of serving the page. That's the extent of it — no profiling, no cross-site tracking.
How long we keep it
- If we don't end up working together: we keep your enquiry for up to 12 months, then delete it.
- If we do work together: we keep what we need for the duration of the work, and then for up to 6 years afterwards to meet UK tax and legal record-keeping rules.
- If you ask us to stop contacting you: we keep a minimal record of that request so we can honour it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the following rights over your personal data. To use any of them, just email hello@autoflowleeds.co.uk — we'll respond within one month.
- Access
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Erasure
- Ask us to delete your data where we've no reason to keep it.
- Restriction
- Ask us to pause how we use your data.
- Objection
- Object to our use of legitimate interests.
- Portability
- Get your data in a portable format.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first and we'll try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):
- Online: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint
- Helpline: 0303 123 1113
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
